NetPet Bloodhound Module
- Bloodhounds are large, long-legged Scent Hounds generally weighing from 75
to over 100 lbs. They come in red, black-saddled red and black and tan. They
are noted for their long soft hanging ears and loose skin as well as for their
melodous voices. They bay when trailing.
- They are gentle dogs and are used to track humans, they do not attack
their quarry when they find it but expect to be rewarded with petting and
praise. They are valuable in searching for lost children as well as finding
criminals.
- One disadvantage of the breed is that the loose skin is associated with
drooling and slobber at feeding time.

- We run a pack of bloodhounds in the UK, and they are called The Kyre
Bloodhounds. They hunt a man and we follow on horseback. We have about
20 couple of hounds, and we hunt every Sunday. I hope that you find this
interesting, and thanks for the website.
